Costas Malamos (1913-2007) was a Greek painter and engraver.

He was born in 1913 in Alexandria, Egypt, where his father had taken refuge from Epirus. He lived the first years of his life in his hometown, Zitsa and later settled in Ioannina. In 1931 he came to Athens where he studied at ASKT (1932-1937), having as teachers Argyros , Mathiopoulos and Parthenis . In 1937 he taught painting lessons at a private tutoring center, while in 1938 he was appointed to the art department of the National Archaeological Museum. He was hired in secondary education in 1943, while in 1944 he rejected his appointment as director of the ASKT branch in Tinos. From 1946 he taught art at the College of Athens, while from 1958 to 1962 he taught at the Vakalo School. He contributed the most to the establishment of the Municipal Gallery of Ioannina in 1960. He was a member of the board of directors of the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens. As well as chairman of the Artistic Committee of the National Gallery . He was a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece (EETE). Through his own actions, the Engraving Gallery was created in Zitsa. He died on March 20, 2007.

  • The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
  • After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
  • The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
