Artist’s CV

Antonis Kyriakoulis was born in Athens in 1938.
He began his circular studies at the Anargyreio and Korialeneio School of Spetses.
In 1960-64 he attended graphic arts courses at the Doxiadis School, next to the engraver A. Tasso. In 1964-65 and from 1966 to April 1967, he completed his studies at the London College of Printing in London. After his return to Greece, he turned professionally to painting.
In 1971 he holds his first solo exhibition, at the Fondazione Europa in Milan, for which Mondo Giovine magazine dedicated a special issue to him.
From 1972 he will deal systematically with stage design and costume design.
He has collaborated with all state theaters and the National Opera, of which he was a member of the Board of Directors during the period 1983-85, as well as with independent theater troupes.
He has had 38 exhibitions and released series of utilitarian art objects.
