Description

“Averoff” -Color collectible lithograph engraved and signed by Panagiotis Tetsis.

  • It is a collectible piece and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
  • Theme dimensions: 76 x 56 cm.

Lithography is a printing technique which was invented around 1798 by A. Alois Senefelder, based on the fact that water and fats are never mixed.

The subject or representation is drawn with greasy chalk on a stone (porous limestone) or tin plate and then dried. When water runs on the designed surfaces, the greasy ink “catches” only in the places that are engraved and not in the wet stone.

The product is handmade and there may be deviations in design and color from the picture.
