Nikos Eggonopoulos was born in October 1907 in Athens and completed his basic studies as a boarder at a high school in Paris. In 1927 he served his military service and after his discharge worked as a translator in a bank and clerk at the University, and in 1930 he was appointed to the Ministry of Public Works as a designer in the Department of Town Planning.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
