You are all invited to celebrate the official opening
of the Alekos Fassianos Museum on Saturday, October 21st.
The Alekos Fassianos Museum wishes to introduce itself to a greater
public through a full day of events that will run in and out of its
premises. The museum will be open all day to welcome visitors of all
ages, offering guided tours around the exhibition space, educational
programs for children and thematic walks introducing the viewer to the
childhood neighbourhood of the artist, Agios Pavlos. Drinks will be
hosted at the end of the day.

Our educational programs have resumed and we are delighted to welcome
schools every Wednesday to Friday. The new Alekos Fassianos Museum kit for kids
“My neighbourhoods myth” is ready to travel around Greece!

Fassianos Friends

The Alekos Fassianos Museum is a non-profit civil company that opened to the
public in April 2023.

Through its annual program of talks, organized guided tours, educational and
social programs and thematic walks around the historical neighbourhood of
Agios Pavlos, the museum wishes to uncover further the multifaceted work of
Alekos Fassianos and actively open up dialogues surrounding its community,
culture and the arts. The support of our Friends is fundamental to the future of

the museum, the museum’s life and the conservation of its art collection.
